A young man’s dream
“Being a barber is more than what I do it is who I am. I have been cutting hair since I was 13 years old, doing house calls, and cutting my friend’s hair from school.
Creating new styles and trends was never just a hobby for me, it was art. I was able to obtain my barbering and cosmetology license from the local vocational high school and expand my techniques with continuing education in coloring, facials, and men/women’s cuts & shaves.
I take pride in every haircut and I have worked hard for folks to recognize a typical haircut and when someone has been Parlorfaded” — José Dones
